Welcome To Our Web Page
This site is dedicated to my loving parents and very caring sister.
Thank you for the wonderful memories in the past and in advance for the memories to come.
Dad and Mom:
If any one in the world has two parents only half as dedicated and loving as I do then they are so lucky. Thank you for everything in my life and for always being there for me and never giving up on me no matter what the circumstances were or ever might be.
April:
Thank you for the late night talks and the countless movie marathons in which three or more movies were chosen, yet somehow we never stayed awake for more than half or the first one...except the Star Wars marathon. I hope that we continue to grow closer than we are now....which seems impossible....cause we are so close.
I LOVE YOU ALL...

Welcome To The ICEBOX!!!!
Every parent should know that they are needed and loved by their child......the following is an essay I wrote for my parents.

You know some days there is not much to do…for once in my college life, the laundry is done, homework is done, and even my car is washed and looks brand new. All of my friends are finishing various tasks at the present time and my roommate is sleeping again for the millionth time today. So here I am left alone at my computer with no one on the America Online Instant Messenger and therefore no one to talk to at the current time in question. I kind of got to thinking about a few things. Then suddenly, something popped up out of nowhere.
As I sat staring blankly at my computer wondering what the heck I was going to do for the next hour or so until Bryan came back. I saw the icon for college scholarships. Not finding a topic in which I currently felt like responding to. I decided to create my own prompt and write an essay. So here it is…

Most every college essay is to be written about the one person in your life who has had the biggest impact, or who, for some important reason to you, has been a hero in your life or in your eyes. However, the longer I think about it and the reasons behind the two most influential people in my life, it can never be narrowed down. So, in response to most college essays…I would like to say that I have two heroes in my life.
So many times in life we never think of those who go unthanked and unmentioned in our lives. I wanted so much to always be the best I could, not so much for me, but for my heroes. No, they never asked me to be a straight "A" student, graduate with a 4.0 in high school, or even never miss a day of class. It was the little encouragements along the way that got me to those goals, which I set for myself, and achieved for both of us. I wanted them to know how proud I was of them for being there and giving anything to make my dreams come true, cause they didn’t have to be encouraging, devoted, and as dedicated to my life as they were.
My parents are my two heroes. This is why I could not choose between them…they are a team. They are the most unselfish people I have ever met. The role as parents never say you must follow your child’s every dream and help them by giving them the materials, which help to max out your Home Depot Frequent Shoppers Credit Card, to build the steps they need to succeed. They never built the steps for me, but merely gave me the "lumber" and "tools" I needed to succeed. No matter what I got myself into over the years, they were always there; to cry when I broke up with boyfriends, to laugh as I told a joke that wasn’t funny, and to hold a stiff lip as I climbed out of the Tahoe for the last time as their little girl and was trying not to cry myself. To tell you the truth, I don’t know how they did it, cause to be completely honest, as soon as they pulled away I broke down in tears myself. Not because I was frightened to be on my own, but for the first time in my life, my Mommy and Daddy weren’t just down the hall, they were a road trip away.
They prepared me for the day when I would leave, I just never thought it would actually come. And, to this day, my biggest regrets are the following three: that I was never in the Homecoming court in high school, so I could walk onto the field with my daddy on my arm, showing him off the entire school and our opponents, thinking "If only everyone had a father as half as great as mine is"; also, not becoming valedictorian in high school, so that I could tell the entire class and their family and friends just how lucky I was to have the most wonderful parents in the world; and my biggest regret…not telling them every single day just what they meant to me and how I was the luckiest child in the world.
Think about it next time you write a college essay, why are you where you are in life and how did you get there? I bet if you think back, there was always a silent person to hold your hand and give you the encouragement you needed to succeed. I know mine were.

I love you Mom and Dad.
